WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORDERING FROM THE CAFE + ORDERING CATERING?
our cafe offers sandwiches, soups, salads + pastries as well as a variety of food products + home goods from brands we love. our catering menu includes large-format platters + desserts. if you're ordering for a large group, it's best to order from our catering menu!

CAN I ORDER OVER THE PHONE?
we don’t accept orders over the phone at this time.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN THE CAFE TODAY?

DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY?
yes, our cafe offers delivery within a 2-3 mile radius for $5.
CAN I ORDER CATERING WITH LESS THAN 48 HOURS' NOTICE?
we require 48 hours' notice for catering orders to give our kitchen time to procure ingredients and prepare your order. we can occasionally make exceptions to this rule, especially for single cakes or pastry boxes. please call us to inquire.
CAN I MODIFY SPECIFIC ITEMS TO MAKE THEM DAIRY-FREE, GLUTEN-FREE, ETC.?
unfortunately we cannot accept modifications to any of our catering items at this time. we appreciate your understanding.
CAN YOU INCLUDE MENU CARDS FOR EACH ITEM?
we do not provide menu cards for online orders, but you can reference the item descriptions on our catering page if you'd like to make your own.
CAN YOU INCLUDE PLATES, NAPKINS AND/OR UTENSILS WITH MY ORDER?
we're happy to include complimentary serving utensils upon request. plates, napkins + individual utensils can be added for an additional charge through our catering page.
HOW SHOULD I REHEAT AND SERVE YOUR FOOD?
our food is designed to be enjoyed at room temperature. if you receive your food more than 2 hours before you plan to serve it, please refrigerate it upon arrival, and then remove it from the fridge an hour before serving. if you'd like to reheat your food, please remove it from the bamboo platter or compostable bowl + heat in a 250 degree oven until warmed through.
DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY?
yes, but we have a delivery minimum of $100. we offer delivery to manhattan, queens + brooklyn for $50. we offer delivery to long island + the hamptons for $150-$350 depending on the exact location. delivery to long island + the hamptons is subject to our third-party service's availability. the delivery prices listed apply to online orders only; photoshoot catering + custom orders carry different delivery pricing.
DO YOU DELIVER TO UPSTATE NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY OR CONNECTICUT?
not at this time! however, we do ship our gift boxes, dry goods + merch nationwide. click here to order.
DO YOU SHIP ANY OF YOUR BAKED GOODS?
not at this time. however, we do offer nationwide shipping for gift boxes and other non-perishable items using FedEx two-day shipping. click here to order.
WHEN DO YOU SHIP?
we only ship on tuesdays and wednesdays. orders placed after 11am on wednesday will be shipped the following tuesday. please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you're in need of urgent shipping.
I NEED TO SEND A GIFT TO SOMEONE. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
we offer gift boxes for pickup, delivery or shipping here. in addition, our "fill your fridge" bag makes a great gift for all occasions. it includes a variety of seasonal foods + provisions from our cafe. you can order it from our catering menu (with 48 hours' notice) or build your own by selecting items from our cafe and then adding a poppy's tote or insulated bag from our "merch" section.
CAN I INCLUDE A NOTE WITH MY ORDER?
yes, we can include a handwritten note on a poppy's postcard. please let us know what you'd like the note to say in the "notes for restaurant" box at checkout.
